We managed to get a pretty cheap room in some tiny back street, within backpackers district, thanks to a smiley little lady who appeared to work for some *Help get the Tourist a room* organisation. She did a good job.

We ate very well and even had cause to go out for a few cheeky drinkies one night. The cause was Manchester United on TV. After watching the Reds perform, we went next door to a music bar with wallet emptying cocktail prices. just as well we were drunk enough not to care. Plus the DJ was playing some loud music that we enjoyed enough to get up and gimble about to. I performed the modified Mash Potato©, while Tweeks wrestled with moves akin to an epileptic snake. Boy, what a show for the locals.

We spent a day walking about the town, on a mission to get to the post office. Did some card posting and headed back to our living qauters. We ♥ cable TV movies! Got to watch a film adaptation of comic book Constantine. not bad, not bad at all.

Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon as it is sometimes better known, was way quieter than Ha Noi....which seems to be my bench mark now of what is noisey.

We spent a few days here taking it easy and booked our bus ticket to Phnom Penh, Cambodia....a mere 6hr bus journey away. Easy............... or so you'd think!
