Well it all started in buying the van. i found some on the net .
they are pretty wanted. after having a look at some i decided to take the one i have now.
of corse it got some bits and pieces as you experct of an 85 car.
good engine though.
next was to get it registered
that requires a local address and the willingness of the dmv to do that to a foreigner.
then you need insurance. after trying some internet agencies, i found it too
fussy, as they all require you to be a permanent resident.
go to a local agent (ask some car dealers for agents). this is the easiest way.
now you are all set.
