We arrived back in Ingham to chase some work,Al is wanting to drive a tractor and has been given some contacts. After a couple of days Cath got a job at Serintino's restaurant amongst the wetland area, nice views from the cafe.Didn't take me long to get back into the swing of making cappuccinos(been Nealy 2 years),lady's are nice and I am learning new things every day.Al is enjoying being the stay at home dad LOL and I think the dogs are loving it,he spoils them rotten.
Palm Tree Caravan Park,
The caravan park is nice ,neat and the owners are great and full of information, they actually put me onto the job.Shandi has strained herself somehow and developed a funny walk so off to the vet we went, they are saying it is her stomach mussels and to keep her quite.Hopefully the medication works and they have diagnosed correctly, will give it a week and if still limping will take her back to the vet.We have been fishing once,Cath caught a small flounder had to throw it back,Al has been pig shooting so still waiting to have roast pork.Al is enjoying catching up with the guys from Hitchenbrook Archery Club and having regular shoots. The weather is great, around 28deg most days and cools down over night, there is about 6 -8 people staying in the park that are actually out working here in Ingham. We will be here for a while if Al gets a bit of work and will keep you updated as we go.
30/08/2011  Al has a job driving a tractor in the cane fields,Hauling out he is enjoying it but doesn't like the snakes,I'm sure he will get used to them. The girls are adjusting well why we both work, longest they are left on their own is around 6 hours, they have really settled. We have moved sights in the caravan park to a large corner sight, has a nice grass area and is shaded more and also a little higher. They tell us when it rains here it really rains,we actually had rain last night about the 5th time in 4 months.Al has had another tick latch onto his stomach after two days it has dropped off,not sure why but maybe they like his blood.
09/09/2011 Al is working long hours hauling out,he is enjoying being Farmer Al,Cath still working at the restaurant and also worked at the local RSL.
Days are still nice around 28deg and cools down over night,we here this is all about to change,it is going to get hot and humid. We met a couple from Kilsyth who had a dog called Patch, can't believe Graham how much you are like Al,bloody stirrer(clown).Dianne,Graham and Patch please keep in contact, thanks again for baby sitting the girls and I'm sure Patch is missing his girls.
We have enjoyed some wet days here in Ingham and we are glad the rain has stopped, days are warm but we are adapting well.Al has still been hauling out and enjoying driving his big tractor amongst the cane fields.Al has also had some experience concreting, helping Craig & Kate here at Palm Tree Caravan Park concreting around the pool area,he will be able to do just about anything soon. Can't wait for a swim ,the pool is nearly complete, maybe end of the week.
Girls have been great, have also got use to the warmer weather. We have met some great people here at the park it will be a little sad to say good bye.
Al has had a good time with our neighbor straight accross from us,what can I say about Laurie well he is a stirrer, follows Geelong and backs that red car team. The two of them have enjoyed watching the football and the car racing together, with that came all the flags, scarfs and any memorability they could find.Make sure you check out our photos to see exactly what the boys have got up to,thanks laurie for entertaining us and making us feel welcome(sometimes).
Will keep you all updated,we will be leaving here around the 10th of November and will head towards Charters Towers Qld.
We said our good byes and left Ingham headed for Townsville,a little sad as we have made some friends for life. The girls said good bye to Lucy, they will miss little Lucy and I'm sure Lucy will miss her daily visits to say hello. We enjoyed swimming in the pool when it was finished even if it did turn Cath's hair green, time to hit the road again.

Great commentary, took a little [LOT] longer to read, asss eye had to kerect the spilling mestakes, witch there ere plinty ,but otherwise a good story. Just a bit of local info. Ticks only attach themselves to POT BELLY BLOKES,to try and REDUCE their waistlines very rapidly,as TICKS sense fat belly lazy bastards who dont have the brainpower to keep themseves fit and trim, such as myself,so in their own way TICKS are good for some people even though the risk of them having a horrible death from FAT poisioning frm the FATGUT people they attach to. For more research on this subject, look up FATGUT AL @ 12 TICKS A NITE DIE ON HIS GUTS. com. Otherwise, enjoy yourself, and Maybe let your friends know about your AMAZING NEIGHBOUR,you know who. Enjoy the rest of your stay, did you say you were leaving tomorrow. Love U2,Take it easy. LOZZA.
