Cath has learn't a few cooking tips from all the Lady's here,we normally cook dinner for around 30 of us,the girls have settled in and have been enjoying walks along the beach.
Al has been fed well by the farmers and heard all the stories of the cyclone, some very sad,but to help out and see how thankful they are that is enough for Al
We have met some wonderful people of all ages,Al is a stirrer around the camp (for something different),they all love him.We are heading off tomorrow,Saturday 30th July and heading for Ingham. We will not forget this experience and the fantastic people we have met.
Al will never forget the tick that lached onto his stomach, after putting dish drops on it,it eventually dropped off after this he expected a tick inspection every night(I don't think so),at least now we know what a tick looks like.
Anyone out there that has time to volunteer just do it,they are still working on farms till mid September,if you can DO IT,one day it might be ourselves that need the help.
