Where I stayed
Mossman Riverside Caravan Park
We put the car on a ferry and spent the day at Daintree national park(Cape tribulation). This was a different drive, roads average, scenery to dive for, views spectacular and beautiful beaches to explore. The girls weren't allowed in a lot of places but were on some beaches,so when they got to the beaches they ran and ran until home time.
If anyone has watch Lost, this area felt like you were on the movie Lost, not to be forgotten.
We went to Port Douglas, surprised at the major resorts there,it is so touristy and the clouds took away good views, not for us too many tourist.
We came across a road with a narrow gage railway(have a look at the photo),different to see..The railway line runs all the way through the country side and through the town.
We met a great couple Faye and John full of stories, thanks for the Happy Hours and stay away from the Road Trains(LOL) and thanks for all the tips you gave us.
Girls spent most their time on the beach, the tide when it went out it would go all the way out,you could see people in the far distance walking their dogs.Al was walking on water LOL
Shandi was so pooped the next day she didn't even want to walk,so she had a lazy day and we left her to regain more stregth(funny).
