Before getting in the subject of vote results, here is a video taken yesterday Tuesday while travelling to where we parked and stayed overnight. The area of the video where it was taken is called Weaverville, a community in the mountains between Eureka and Redding. It illustrates what kind of industry is king here. Of course fly fishing and hunting are tops as well.

The views were what it can be expected from travelling through valleys, cliffs, snow covered peaks, quaint towns, colorful and creative displays from mom and pop shops, etc.

Now, re. voting results. First we would like to thank all that participated or shared in our fun. Several emails came directly to our emails and were not posted in the blog.

We should mentioned that some people did THINK they were going to cast their ballot but were sidetracked with other things. (Is that a good excuse or what uh?) Others simply didn't want to get involved with such serious quarrel and decided not to participate and stayed away in order to avoid hurting either of our feelings.

So, here it goes. I'm extremely happy (not!) to say that Glenda won. Your comments were very reassuring and kept my self confidence intact though. To illustrate the point, here are some and they went like this:

- YES you have enough pepper for some things, and NO you don't have enough for some other things :) :)

- There isn't enough pepper for an ant to take back to the colony!

- YES, you make do with what you have:) This is the secret of happiness!!!!! Enjoy what you have rather than always want more :) :) :) So Glenda's reply should have been: "OK sweetheart, I will make magic with the pitiful amount of peppers we have". And if you beleive that, I have a metal tower in Paris for sale to you :)

A discussion on this last statement is open to the floor.

Let's see if if some feminine fiber comes, AGAIN, to the fore.

Nope but very appropriate comment for the title though. :)
