Woke up this morning feeling not so good due to the blowout we had starting at graduation. It was a really nice ceremony, got our certificates, then started drinking, flip cup, parade down the streets of tamarindo looking for an open bar, danced the night away in Aqua. My knee is killing me from all crazy dancing. I had my final Tico breakfast, sat around talking about the following night, how Maya missed the van rid and had to take a taxi to airport, Brendan stayed at a different hotel that night and on his way there, the taxi got stuck in the mud, so he said he would just walk, immediately lost his flip flops in the mud...had to crawl over rocks and the sort to get to the hotel, he was caked in mud, but he still showed up to say goodbye...his feet were so swollen, Claudio and Johnny's flight was cancelled due to the runway being underwater in tamarindo, which affected us as when we were getting ready to leave, Cathy, Josh, David, Anna, Sean and myself..we got delayed cuz Claudio and Johnny were taking the van with us to Liberia..Claudio loves to delay me! We said our good byes to all the staff and few friends that were left. Rafa, Phil and The Bens were staying another day or so.
Airport was a bit confusing, had to pay a departure tax, so that was one line, tax was $26, then go back to USAirways line to check in, which took forever due to the same annoying people who were on the same flight down a week ago. We went up to the restaurant to get some food and sit in the air conditioning as it was so freaking hot. John, Jill and Jenn departing WR

We sat around talking about the week and Johnny slept...he was MVP, he was a party machine, though I would say I only really know him for about 24 hours total as we would be MIA for a day to two, now and then. Headed to the gate, got to see Sean before he boarded, then we sat for a few hours waiting for our flight which was supposed to be delayed like by an hour or so but was not that late and we made up time in the air. Only 20 min late. Flight was not full, got to sit with Anna for a part of the flight. Immigration was a long line, got bags and customs was a breeze. Chatted with the DC crew for a bit they were staying in charlotte for the night and then got to say goodbye to Anna thankfully, she was stuck in Immigration line forever cuz she is canadian. Michalene, with Alina and Lucy in the back seat half asleep, there were so cute, picked me up and it was just a surreal type feeling trying to put into words the whole experience, it just felt weird to be home. I was still on Tico time and stayed up on facebook..like an addict making sure people got home safely and looked at pictures. It was the most amazing time, I made friends with the most fun and incredible people i have ever met in my life and I miss them dearly. Witch's Rock Surf Camp is a place for everyone to visit, surfing, the staff, the food, the town and the people you meet all are beyond great, I have run out of adjectives. Pura Vida
