Day 7 - Rain, lots of Rain

Im going to start getting my stuff ready for the trip and go eat some breakfast.
We went out to Avenellas for our surf session today, probably like 45 min trip...in the big bus...loaded up the surf boards and piled in...was raining the whole way there of course..we get there and walked a little bit down to the break..and it was rough...we newbies were getting freaking beat up...set after set after set, there was like the cross current as well that was brutal, I got up on one wave on the big long board 10'2..then there was Brendan's board floating in..he lost it in a wave, I drug it back out to him..then turned my head and saw John carrying Jill in the surf..she hit her head, so I went over there and we got her on the long board and floated in..then carried her to the beach..she hit her head and knocked her self out for a few seconds...it was very rough out there, but she is a trooper..she eventually went back out and road some white water surf..I went out on a 9'2 and got up on a wave and was like all pissed cuz I should have moved down to that size earlier but wasn't thinking I was ready...but then I never got back up..I was freaking tired from all the poor paddling and heavy surf...so we watched the experienced surfers for awhile, loaded the bus and stopped at a little local restaurant, and had some great food..headed back and took a shower..i have so many bruises, scrapes and my back and shoulders are killing me, my age has finally caught up to me..lol...but everyone is like that too
bus ride
. I went to the pharmacy and got some Hydrogen peroxide and some painkillers..as im hurting..i did something to my thumb and its freaking killing me, had to do a little surgery on myself...will start taking a antibiotic tomorrow...since I will be partying tonight since its that last night..i can't believe I fly out tomorrow. Im so not ready to come back and go back to work. I have made some great friends and it has been an amazing time. I am really going to miss them and this place...aww shucks..im getting all sentimental..lolTonight is Graduation, we apparently get some free food, watch a video of pics, but since it has rained all week...not going to be many pictures...and I think we get a certificate..lol..awesome...its so going to get framed...then we will probably head out to the Monkey bar for drinks, I don't plan on staying out too late..as I would like to get up early and hang out, pack and relax before heading to the airport and not feel all hungover..that is all I need to go along with all the other pain.
