Today was interesting, went out surfing this morning, or what I like to call surfing, more attempting to surf. It was a lot bigger than earlier this week, it was super hard to paddle out, walk out whatever...sets were coming in 8 at a time at one point, probably 3-4 feet...which is freaking huge for me. I actually did catch 2 good waves..which felt great, a couple of waves on my knees...but most of the time I got beat up in the waves...I was beat, would catch a wave or fall..then take like 10 minutes to get back to the line up..and you felt exhausted. But it was fun, I planned on going back out in the afternoon, just didnt do it, ended up sitting in the bar with Raf, eating and having some Witch's Tit...oh by the way it was downpouring all morning, so felt like Point Break, it was cool. But then it got a bit weird and sad for all of us..lol...everyone brought down their laptops and we read email, downloaded songs and set up us lowly few who are not on facebook..well now I am a facebook person and thought I would never say this..but its pretty cool. Didn't do a lot of it...but I can see how it can be addictive. Maya got a job offer today and accepted..which is great, we were all so happy for her. Raf got a job as well earlier in the week..so seems that we have some good karma going on. But think about it about 5-7 years ago...do you think you would be in the middle Costa Rica on a laptop????
Well we are going out to dinner at Dragonfly then probably to some club...so probably a drunk update later on tonight. Here are a few pics...
