Day 2
Slept good, and got up early, took a walk down to the beach, Wow its beautiful here, the water is so warm, early surf school was beginning to start, but I got a few cool pics of the beach and views. I will enclose. Im excited for the surf lessons, I wish would have had them at 6am, instead of 745am. Its truly gorgeous here, I plan on taking a walk around the town later on today. Oh met some missionary girl name Jen at the beach this morning she was taking photos and sketching, very nice but was talking about god and stuff so I started to drfit off...lol Anyways..I will update next after my surf lessons.

3:15pm
Humbling...that is the word to describe surfing today. I have a cool instructor who happens to be super hot as well, Vicky, she is from Uraguay and good surfer. She is very patient, Im with 2 other guys, I had to move up to a big 10'2 board, which was better for me, though its not foam so my knees got a little tore up from the wax Walkin out to beach this morning
Walkin out to beach this morning
. There were some nice waves, I did not stand up today, I was so pissed, I was thinking about it way too much, wanting to be perfect, so just need to chill out and relax tomorrow Got a seminar at 3pm, I didn't want to overdue it today, so just stayed in the water for like 30 more min after the lesson practicing and keeping balanced paddling on the board, I should have lost more weight..lol But overall great experience, I met Joe and his wife today and talked with him a little bit, cool people...he is living the life here. Made some new friends today and we are all going to the rodeo at 4pm after the seminar, should be entertaining..not sure what villiage or town it is in, but we heard they were fun, so watching people ride bulls and get thrown off would be sort of ironic I guess. Water is super warm..omg its amazingly beautiful here. I am already to start booking my trip for next year. They were having a surf competition here as well today. there were some good waves and surfers.Nothing big but enough. Ohh I saw manta rays jumping out of the water into the air and splashing back down...it was so awesome I have never see that before ...probably like less than 30 yards away...so cool. Had the free breakfast, very good, the normal Tico breakfast, eggs, bacon, blackbeans and rice and some toast! Probably go down in a bit and have some lunch,
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Wish I could say I was missing you..lol...Im not...loving it here.
I will update later tonight about the rodeo etc.

Nice views
I'm green with envy - the only sunshine I've seen all weekend is in your photos. Waiting for Fay to pass New Orleans while thinking about you learning to surf. I can't wait to see more photos. :) Heather B.
