Our 11-hour China Air flight from Anchorage, Alaska to Taipei, Taiwan was filled with several meals, movies, naps, visits, and walks around the plane. We landed around 6:30am on December 28 (loosing December 27 while crossing the International Date Line) to warmer weather and smog without snow. We passed our 3-hour layover with snacks, walks, card games, and computers. The currency in Taiwan is the New Taiwan Dollar (NT), and we found items (at least at the airport) to be quite expensive. A sandwhich cost $7.00, and a salad was $9.00!
