Matt, Liz, Savannah, & Cassie
At our team meeting today, we were introduced to Matt, Liz, Savannah, and Cassie who have been working with Partners Relief Aid & Development for the past two years. Each year they have returned to their home in Alaska to work over the summer months, and then traveled back to Thailand to work with Partners for about eight months. This year they plan to return to Thailand in September, and remain there for the full year.
Matt is a Projects Development Coordinator with Partners. He helps to establish programs such as fish ponds, raising livestock, and developing clean-water and electrical power systems in areas of need. His mechanical skills are also often used to keep the automobiles and other machinery in good working order. Liz, Savannah, and Cassie are involved with children's ministry in orphanages and schools as well as their own home-school activities.The entire family is also envolved in ministry to homeless children in their local town.
During our team trip this December, this family will join us to assist as our guides and drivers. We enjoyed getting to know them a little better, and will be keeping in touch with them as they continue their mission-work with Partners. We are looking forward to traveling with them in December.
