All the roads in Singapore if laid end to end would stretch from here to Hong Kong.
The majority of Singaporeans were born in October.
Singapore is the 2nd most densely populated country.

And yes I was flicking through a tourist leaflet over breakfast.

All that though still not as interesting as the random traveler wisdom from whoever pinned an fact sheet about colonic irrigation on the noticeboard to peruse while you munch on your toast and Nutella. Should have stuck with the jam.

Anyway after seeing Rick and Helen off I set off myself down one of those many roads towards the most famous one here, Orchard Road.

Already decorated with Christmas decorations it was a sudden reminder of how close it was and how long I'd been on the road for now as the only thing I spent was time window shopping although they do really know how to do shopping malls here that literally ooze money.

From here I ventured to the south of the city/country/island to Mount Faber getting a lift from a friendly passing motorcyclists on my way to the top. I've certainly been a passenger on my fair share of bikes over the last few months but never of the gleaming sports bike type such as this as we raced up the winding road with me white knuckles clinging on as hard as they could been thrown from side to side.

The view from the top was worth the few minutes of terror anyway giving a panoramic city scape and harbor views with the sun fittingly just setting over the horizon on my last night here in Asia.

Stopping off in Chinatown on the way back it fitted in with the rest of Singapore being the cleanest and most orderly Chinatown I'd ever seen.
