Rising later I went for a short wander finding the small Tsunami Memorial Garden and areas of land, which only after seeing 'before' photographs, you can see they are now devoid of the number of trees that once stood there.
The weather now the best it had been in two days (it had stopped raining) I headed out again up to the viewpoint overlooking the bay area on the island giving some views well worth the short climb which may be all the exercise most beach bums would get while here.
After watching a cat take on a lizard at the top, my money was on the cat, I descended and feeling that short burst of effort to get up there was worth of some attention I decided to finally get around to having a Thai massage
Hearing the familiar "Hello, massage?" call on approach to one place I almost said "Not today thanks" out of habit before accepting what I hoped would be an hour's worth of relaxation.
Feeling like an action man in the hands of a malevolent 8 year old I found myself being cracked and twisted in ways I never knew possible by a little Thai lady who seemed to take great glee in 'snapping' my neck letting out a small laugh every time she managed to make the bones crack.
Still trying to relax she kept telling me also to do so to help her further bend and twist me as I exclaimed I was relaxed just that my limbs don't bend that way due to those bone things in them.
Feeling like I needed a drink afterwards it was probably more appropriate than usual to slink back into the 007 bar arriving both shaken and stirred before I'd even ordered a drink.
