Arriving back in Bangkok in the very early AM I settled on the first place I could find that was not full even if it was prison cell of a room just off Khao San Road but at least it had a window. Luxury at it's best.
A few zzz's later I was up and shopping trying to track down a replacement watch for the one I lost in Cambodia. Against better judgement perhaps I bartered for a cheap-o watch for a whole 150 Baht and after picking up a few new clothes (can only go with the same few t-shirts for so long) I went for a browse around the dive shops just to get some info for my planned underwater excursion to Koh Tao.
Not really thinking of booking anything here I was soon parting with cash however after being offered a too good to resist offer from one of the better dive operators on the island.
Met up with Mark in the evening who had caught up from Cambodia along with 3 others Vanessa (China), Craig (England) and David (Canada) as we all had a few Changs together before using Vanessa as the excuse to go to check out Bangkok's other major tourist attraction. Ping Pong.
You do wonder who was the first one to try some of the tricks they did and just what the hell where they thinking at the time.
