With the music and dance competition getting closer the practicing seems to be going on all day in the big hall at school which also means hearing the same songs over and over and over again throughout the day. Despite not understanding the language I'm sure I could sing them off by heart now too, albeit badly.

It seems that if you ever want to make a lesson more interesting to Thai students just get them competing against each other. With todays lesson having two teams going at each other like their lives depended on it knocking over and almost breaking the whiteboard in their frenzied lust for glory as I stood there just trying to keep out of their way (was almost sure lives or limbs were gonna be lost, or at least traded in for more team points).

Went out for another Korean BBQ this evening with Khun Maa, Phun paw and Mali with a buy two get one free deal seeing us making sure we got our moneys worth although there was definite resistance met during the 2nd round but soon picked up again in the final stages. Still amazed at just how much food Thai people can put away while still keeping the sort of figure that explains why I need to but XXL clothes here - hey it's got nothing to do with all that sticky rice.
