Thinking I'd done good and had got up early I was still rushing to the supermarket at the last minute to grab some supplies for the train journey after Idan & Lihi had already been. Although food is served on the train the look of the gelatinous pans of rice and meat that cruise up and down the train every so often really don't look too appetizing especially after the same trolley has been past a dozen times.

We marched to the front of the waiting area at the station so were first on board when the gates opened and missed the usual crush although we were still overtaking by those obviously with hard seat tickets sprinting with large holdall bags, some bigger than they were.

The train was not the best I'd been on with the sheets on the bed looking like they had not been changed for at least a few journeys with bits of the previous occupants lunch still hitchhiking on top.

To drown out the migraine inducing Chinese pop music (I'm sure they only have about 3 songs as it always the same ones you hear everywhere) blaring out of the trains tinny speakers the 3 of us listened to Idan's CD player while belting out some classic Queen anthems as they played no doubt much to the annoyance of those around us but they soon got their revenge with the typical nightly chorus of snoring echoing down the carriage.
