MaeSeraing - I sleep town on the western side of Thailand about half way between Chaing Mai and Bangkok. Not many farang here, I think I am the only white face. Anyway, went down the the river yesterday and picked ap a longboat ride along the border between Thailand and Burma, the driver of the boat was a old Burmese bloke that spoke perfect English, he lives in Thailand now but is not allowed past a certain point in the country, he pretty much has to stay in the North on the country but this is pretty typical for a lot of Burmese refugees.

The boat ride was pretty good, thailand mountain ranges on one side and Burmese mountains on the other, very good scenery but it was bloody hot sitting on the boat for a hour with the engine blasting out hot air in an already hot day. But way worh the pain.

Going to hang here for another day or two, see what happens.
