Pai - I spent three nights in Pai, a sleepy little village that lots of tourist go to chill out, mainly because that is where the drug laws is Thailand are a bit more relaxed than the rest of the country. One of trip to a waterfall I was stopped by a number of locals with them asking if I wanted gunja, speed, cocaine or opium, when I said I was only going to have a look at the waterfall they all looked at me like I was a bit strange, never mind, it was a pretty cool place and the riding into the bush was great. I headed north towards Burma (again), this area has recently had some major floods and a lot of the tracks are well mussed up, perfect for dirt bike riding, not so good for the locals as they lost most of there bridges and some of their houses were washed away. There was one ride that i rode around a corner and ended up face to face with a elephant, I am not sure who got the biggest fright but after a few seconds he move over and let me pass.
I met up with three guys in the forest who were just sitting down to a lunch they just caught, they asked if I wanted to join them so not to offend I accepted, I did not know that we were having sparrows or some other small bird(just shot with hand made rifles), rice and rice whiskey, all in all it was a pretty good meal, then later that night the lady at the place I was staying was gutting frog ready for the BBQ and again she offered for me to join them, this time I was a bit wiser and told her I had made other plans.

Suppong - is a small little village that not many farang tourist stop, I found a really cool guest house called the 'Jungle guest house', it was in the middle of the jungle as the name suggest and my room over looked a stream, I had three of the best nights slept ever, even with a lizard, spider and frogs in my room. I did a few rides into some of the small remote villages, I think there is some in breading in this area as the people were a bit weird, they were still friendly.

Not sure where I am heading from here will have to wait and see.
