At Lidia's house

We are here at Lidia's brother's house during our visit to Lidia. Today we drove through the Garfagnana Mountains, but when the roads became icy and snowy we turned around and returned to the warmer costal road to cotinue on to Lidia's. The mountains were sensational and Laura took many fine photios which we cannot wait to show you. Small towns nestled in the hills. We did find a small trattoria on top where we bought a diet coke for Laura ! Tonight is very mellow here with a fire raging and excellent food. Tomorrow we continue on to the area around Orvieto, where we visit the tiny hill town of Civita Banoreggio. We hope to see you all soon.
