We have 2 wonderful days here. Yesterday we went to Uffizi and also walked around quite a bit, picking up a few things here and there. We went to a leather store where we know the owners and found out he also owned a restaurant where we ate dinner last night and have a lovely time. Bistecca Fiorentina for 2. Wow. Today we saw one of the world's great museums, The Photography Museum of Florence. It was a great museum before, but now added a history film and it was even better.
On the down side, we went a rent car tomorrow and were going to tour the Tuscan region of Chianti, staying at Greve and visiting Radda, Castellina, and Panzano, world renowned towns. The weather right now is predicted for rain and snow the next 3 days. I hope it is incorrect prediction.
On Wed we go to Luca's house to stay the night and have dinner. Then off to Cinque Terre. Kathy we are staying outside the area in La Spezia.
