So we start the day at 8 bells. Our posse was disbanded today as we were headed for different places.

We go on our final tour with fourteen other travelers in mini coach where our leg room is non existent. When we complained our guide said that it is a throwback to the communist period when everything was fabricated just big enough...but this is 2013 !!!

Cesky Krumlov, or as the Czechs call it, Cesky Krumlov, is on a major trade route with Austria and as such used to be an important centre. It has a large castle overlooking the town. Very interesting and picturesque place. We had lunch in an old prison. Our friend, Bonnie, ordered fish when we were in Prague, but on seeing that head and tail were still attached asked to change her order to pork. No problem says our guide, but the server said "no!!" and got quite angry. These folks need customer sensitivity training. Anyway Bonnie got her pork.

In the evening we took in an opera, Don Giovanni...by puppets! It was recommended by one of our traveling companions. It actually was really good, and most enjoyable. The story didn't matter...it was like a hi-brow muppet show...no Miss Piggy though. Pizza was our meal of choice at an outdoor cafe, heated by gas heaters and blankets for the customers (yes, we took advantage of the blankets). Finally a walk to the Charles bridge with less tourists, must have been the rain!

Funny pictures. Knew someday Liz's height would be useful for something really special. Too funny!
