This morning we spent a good 2 hours at the Mt Isa historical museum before collecting of $30 worth of chicken.
Next was a 500km drive to historic Normanton on the gulf of carpentaria. It was closed so we checked into the caravan park and had chicken for tea. What can be better than that. Will it be chicken tomorrow? It had better be because theres no room in the fridge for my beer.
Here we met some australians, Rex, Bonnie, John and I think the other ladies name was Irene.Rex and Bonnie were great people who held open house to everyone. Bonnie worked with indigenous people. All we can say in true australian style is "Good on Ya".
