Fremantle
Entry 42 of 158 | show all | print this entry |
Only 220 km today and warm and sunny weather. A slight disappointment in the morning because after walking the 2km along Busselton jetty, the underwater observatory was closed because the sea was too rough for clarity.
We arrived at Woodman Point about 10km south of Fremantle in the early afternoon. Another great beachside caravan park with lots of different birds, including fantastic coloured parrots. When we asked what they were called we were informed that they were "Twenty Eights", a name almost as bizzarre as Monty Pythons "Norwegian Blue".
