After leaving Broken Hill the best part of a days drive took us through the Flinders Ranges national park, past Wilpena pound and from that point on an unsealed highway to Blinman, the highest town in the Ranges.We drove for about 45km and the road was very good in the places where it had been recently graded but fairly rough in other sections. The whole journey was very scenic but the unsealed part was magic, full of Kangaroos and Emus.

The campsite we stayed at in Blinman looked fantastic with the curtains closed, but what the heck, for 20 dollars for a powered site and a friendly dog, who can complain.
