Another days driveand passing by a beautiful lake called Lake Benanee and all day long having the feel of real wide open spaces, we stayed the night at the Nicholas Royal Hotel in Hay. You guessed it, a walk away from the local RSL club.

Hay used to be the NSW headquarters of Cobb and Co, the famous coach Company, like the Australian Wells Fargo. They have a fully restored coach on display, licensed to carry 17 people but actually big enough for about 6. Folks must have been smaller in those days.
