Flew to Maturin in Lombok by Trigana Air. We were a little concerned
when we saw the notice on all the seat backs saying something like
"Life jacket under your seat. Please leave it on the aircraft when
you leave. Thank You" 

We travelled across the island by
bus to join a small vessel that will be taking us on a 3 day cruise
through sumbawa and Komodo Islands to Flores. Importantly, the price
for a large Bintang on the ship is 20000 Rupiah. We met the other 20
people who will be cruising with us, an assortment of nationalities.
People from Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, Holland, Luxenbourg, New
Zealand, Spain, Switzeraland and the UK. We are the oldest - the
average age being about 30. We will fit in well, I'm sure.
