The food is cheap here but the best thing about Bali is the price of the beer. Bintang is between 13000 and 22000 Rupiah. It sounds a lot but there are 17700 to the pound. It tastes as good as Carling.

Yesterday the offer of 2 way transport to Nusa Dua persuaded us to attend a time share presentation. The resort apartments were absolutely fabulous and the beach there idyllic, much better than at Kuta. We didn't buy into their scheme but were given a free lunch and guess what, a free holiday in Australia!
