Amsterdam has been wonderful ( in sooo many ways).
So our trip began with a ferry ride from London (actually Harish) to the Netherlands (we have no idea where the ferry actually docked). This ferry is like none that we have in the states. It was a total party!!! I mean there was a mini casino on board, bars, movie theater (showing The DaVinci Code and X-Men 3) and many restaurants. It was like our version of a cruise ship. We walked on the ship like "damn...what is this?". We strolled around looking for a seat and stumbled upon the "black" section of the boat. I mean fools were slapping down dominos and everything. There was a lady and her girls killing a bottle to passion fruit Alize. It was classic! So we took a seat and just took it all in ( in awe of course). We were stunned the entire ride, we couldn't' t get over the amount of people on the boat. All of the black people seemed to know each other, making us think that there was something special happening this weekend. We ended up meeting some people who lived outside of London (hey Kwame!) who told us that it was Carnival in Rotterdam and that's where everyone was going. Rotterdam is like an hour from Amsterdam.
We made plans to go there one night but it didn't happen. Sadly to say, a mini fight broke out on the ship which was easily contained, but that brought us even closer to the other passengers. Of course you have to find out what's going on and who did what...rumors were abundant, it was great! The ship was great, so much fun, we would definitely do it again! More thumbnails ...

Oh behave! Ladies, this is pure fun following your travels. I think you should continue the tradition of videotaping yourselves standing on a corner in every city to capture what traffic is like around the world. Dionne, if you need, I can mail you some more memory sticks- just say the word!
