Been a while since I wrote on this thing so time for a quick update!

Spent the past week in Buenos Aires, absolutely amazing city with so much to do and see! After one night at the hostel, with some arse telling us we couldn´t use our YHA card... a strongly worded email to YHA followed and we were right so HA!  Only spent the night there however and we spent the next 7 nights at the lovely Alvarez family house, where we had a really pleasant stay just outside BA in a place called Beccar... our best of the trip!

We spent our time visiting the main sights... such as Plaza de Mayo (with the Cathedral, Casa Rosada and loads of people running about in front of the bank filming a commercial or summit), The Obelisque, the Recoleta (where Evita is buried and loads of tourists flock, very funny tour guide who slagged her off!), going to nearby Tigre to the market and visiting numerous art galleries/museums! Also, went to a really nice restaurant called La Bolsa, which had singing n tango dancers!!!! Very very very impressive and all for 20 quid!

Saturday night we had the pleasure of going to see Interpol for free (courtesy of Subba n EMI!) for an amazing gig at the Gran Mez. The venue was all seated n everyone got told off a bit for jumping about but all in all very good. In the night we went to a party with Rocio n her pals n got a wee bit drunk off not many drinks but much fun was had by all!

Sunday we went to San Telmo for a really nice market, we missed the Tango in the streets (apart from a guy with a weird doll) but got to see plenty of music and street performers along with the stalls.

And that was that! We´re now in Salta, not so sure about it yet but apparently the surrounding area is really nice.

We shall see! x
