Since my last entry we´ve basically been taking it very very easy, took about two days for the redness of the dreaded sunburn to go down... afterwards it was back on the beach, wfactor 40 and a hoooge umbrella! On Valentines Day we went to a nice Brazilian restaurant and had Moqueca, which is basically fish with a palm oil and cocunut sauce. Rather very scrumptious and very pleasant night indeed :) During the week we also discoved açai, a fruit that can only be found in Brazil. It´s served almost like a sorbet and you have more fruit and nuts on top. Definately covered the ol´ 5 a day!
After what had been a week in Praia do Forte, and a really smashing week at that, we bobbed upto Imbassai for a few days. Having been dropped off on the main road, we had to walk about 2 miles in the blistering heat to get to our location, next time we will most definately take FULL note of our guide book. We arrived to a rather bizarre setting, little monkeys in the trees and a hostel made of bamboo!! We spent the next on another fantastic beach, took a boat to get there... the beach is kinda isolated between a river and the sea so we ceratinly arrived in style! Brilliant waves too! Also finished my book, Catch 22, and Sophie lost hers so now we´re pining for our next literary feast....
Next day was spent travelling back to Salvador... first via motorbike then two buses.... and we found out it was a bit too expensive to go straight to Foz do Iguacu so it was off to Sao Paulo, which is where we are now! Took a mighty 32 hours to get here, beating our last journey record considerably, arriving at 4am to where we are now, a really good hostel in the outskirts of the city... even has an N64!
That´s about it really, photos are up on facebook so have a gander x
