Whooooooooeeeeeeee! This trip is obviously a search for spring, which we could not even begin to recognize until we were just north of Springfield, Mass. which is where the snow finally petered out. (Linda won a quarter on that one.) By the time we were in mid-Jersey Turnpike the oak trees in the median had visible buds on the ends of the branches. By Maryland--no real leaves yet, but DAFFODILS! We found it!
It is night--hence no pictures. Wait until morning.
BTW, we made VERY good time. I know, that's what all the dads would ask. . . . "did you make good time?"
In Gaithersburg you can call up the chinese folks and they'll bring you dinner right to your door. Unlike the hinterlands, where, even if they thought about bringing you dinner, they couldn't get up the driveway.
That's it for now.
