It is called the Golden city, which conveys the elegance and colour of its historic center. The view of the city shows rust-red rooftops, mellow stone, turquoise domes and grey Gothic spires. Buildings and streets can be 1000 years old. Wandering through the cobbled passageways and streets occupy most of ones time.
Beer cheaper than water can be found everywhere. I would not recommend eating Bavarian here, the food was not great.
The biggest language barrier was experienced here while attempting to go to a concentration camp 1 hour away. After a significant attempt, we finally abandoned our mission as we had to catch a train that evening and could not miss it.
