It was a long drive from Coral Bay today and I was still feeling crap. I got to sleep most of the way though as we did very little.
At Overlander (a huge place with just a gas station and shop) we turned off the road towards Denham. It was 130km off the road but it was so pretty. We stopped at the barking gate (it actually barks) then an incredible shell beach before heading straight into the town of Denham. We got to stay in a really nice hostel. I was sorry I couldn't stay longer.... even for a doctor but didn't have the time.
6.45am start off to Monkey Mia, where the dolphins were at the beach waiting for attention and a feed. It rained that morning. Very heavily. Warm drinks and a bit of food later and off the fish park thing I can't remember the name of. It was great and managed to see a shark in action.
We took off again in search of Kalbarri and got as far as Overlander again. As we rolled into the service station we ran out of petrol and had to push it the res t on the way to the pump. There was a little work had to be done by the 2 boys to get the bus going again.
Onto Kalbarri and went on a bit of a tour of the viewing points in the National Park. Managed to find a doctor and finally got antibiotics, and relief to the agony of the worse soar throat I had in a long long time.
