. It's now late in the afternoon and we head off in the direction of Zurich which will be our final stop in Switzerland and Europe. As we arrive to the outskirts of Zurich, we don't even get off the freeway and we are already stuck in traffic, the one way streets are worse than Milan but we eventually make it to the hotel , which gives us enough time to observe the busy and happening streets of Zurich. We check in and explore streets of Zurich, it's very similar to Luzern, they both have rivers running through the centres, both have mediival architecture and both have pedestrian cobble streets running all over the place. We find a Ferris Wheel at the top end of the city and enjoy a quiet ride at sunset ride while we take in the city views. We finish our night with a quick dinner and return to the hotel to pack our bags and prepare for our next city New York.
As we wake up this morning, we can see it's been raining in the medieval streets of Luzern , the kids voice their disappointment, but I assure them it will get better throughout the day as the forecast is 16 degrees rain easing in the afternoon. After breakfast we head to Verkehshaus der Schweiz (Luzern's Transportation Museum), and as soon as we walk in the kids show their enthusiasm as there is so much to do in this place. First off, there are little playgrounds everywhere and as we walk to the different sections of the Museum there are free scooters for visitors to zoom around in. We spend at least 5 hours exploring the Swiss transportation exhibits, while the kids try to fly helicopters in flight simulators, to learning about trucks, trains and buses. We finish the museum in the planetarium learning about the solar system, the kids loved it. As we leave the museum, we spot a nearby playground and guess what the sun is out, so we allow the kids to enjoy themselves as we enjoy the views of Luzern
