Introduction to my trip to Florence

In less than 35 days I will be on my first flight of two destined for Florence, Italy...where I will learn and experience Italian culture and architecture first hand. I'm very excited with all the doors that will open in this trip: travels, food, architecture, art, photography, and other countries!

Monday through Thursday I will be attending class, I know, forcing students to do work while the vast lands and people of Europe are at our finger tips is a crime...but it's a small price to pay for living in Florence for 3.5 months! Friday's we have off so we can venture Europe by rail and air.

I am determined that there will be plenty of travels to various countries all over Europe, some of which being Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, France, Milan, Prague, Greece, etc. I'll be sure to take tons of pictures and attempt to write and post often.

I will have internet access at various cafes as well as in studio. However, the cafes do cost money so I'll probably limit my internet time to while I'm at the Institute. So please check back, e-mail, and message often. I'll be sending out mass e-mail updates, however, if you wish for a more personal conversation please e-mail me and I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible!

This entry is my test at getting the feel of this site! Apparently, I can set something up that it will e-mail you whenever I update my travel log. So if you're not on the mailing list, or know someone who would like to be, please shoot me an e-mail and I'll be sure to add everyone. I will be testing my abilities with the travel log prior to my trip so that I can better maneuver everything when I get to Italy! Until the next entry, ciao!
