Tonight is my first night in Berlin, today was great !! I am staying at the Park Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz right in the heart of the city. I got to see the Berlin Wall...and just roam around the city. Took amazing pictures, and had a lot to eat =] The only thing about Berlin that I seemed to notice is that there is a Starbucks at almost every corner. Berlin is like a mini Chicago...a lot better of course, but still, just an observation. The Golden Victoria was also a pretty sight to see, she is standing tall on top of the Victory Column. I was able to see her from the bus ride that I took through Berling. I didn't go on a tour or anything, just randomly got on a city bus and went around to take pictures. It was beautiful. One of my favorite places in Berlin was the Reistag. It had the most beautiful view from the top of the dome. With all the pure glass windows and people around it...it was just a sight to see...now i'm back in the hotel...waiting to leave in a few to go back to Leipzig...in for a long bus drive...I spent including the bus ride and the hotel about 240 Dollars. Ahhh good times =]
