Anyway - Angela found this nice top at Portobello Market at this Place called Yumi. Apparently, this is a place frequented by some celebrities - Sienna Miller, Madonna, etc. Shiett! Shows you how much I know about fashion.
We make our way back to the hotel to get our stuff for Paris. But just as luck would have it, we jumped on the wrong tube line. Not once, not twice, but three times!!! We finally got to our hotel, grabbed our luggage and, rushed to St. Pancras the train station for the Eurostar. And finally - the worst part of our day. WE MISSED OUR TRAIN!!! Urgh!!! So I coughed up another 100 quid for two one way tickets. I felt so terrible for having mixed up the departure times. Thankfully, Angela didn't really care and wasn't too upset with me. What a trooper, huh? Gotta love her.
Oh well, what are you going to do. At least I finally got a hold of my friend Sarai. She's a make-up artist for a few high fashion magazines and does a lot of make up for runway models and actresses. She's amazing at her work and a great friend to know. Sarai just happens to be back home in Paris working on a fashion show. What luck, right? An actual Parisian showing us around Paris.
Anyway - I'm starting to get a little sick from typing on my blackberry on the train... Hahah. Hopefully, tomorrow brings better news.
