Two more days!!  Just two more days before we leave for our adventure. Exciting right?! Well oddly enough,  I haven't been really thinking about it until this past weekend. A few months ago, I was brimming with anticipation.  But for some reason the excitement started to dissipate and I started to lose myself in the bullshit we all go through on a daily basis - work, career, relationship issues, friends, family... the Writers Strike! The Paperwork
The Paperwork
I'm sure Angela, who will be playing the role of Bonnie to my Clyde on this adventure, can relate with me. She's been steeped in projects over at Rock & Republic that need to get done before she leaves.  I'm sure she hasn't been thinking about the trip either - but will most definitely welcome the much needed break from the insanity we call Los Angeles.

We had our 14th Annual DBS Thanksgiving Dinner this weekend - and everyone asked us about our pending trip.  That's when the I started getting excited about it again.  So for those of you who are keeping score at home, these are the places we'll be visiting: London, Paris, Capetown, Johannesburg, Nelspruit, Kruger Park, and parts of Mozambique, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.  WOW! I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

Now that our departure is within reach, I will start to write at least one entry per day. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to post any visual aids until after I get back from the trip so you'll have to use your imagination.  I will try to be as descriptive, as thorough, and as imaginative as I can be with my entries.  Unless, of course, I get beat up by a local firm after calling their club a bunch of puftas who fancy themselves a dandy or two.  Or worse yet, eaten alive by Mufasa himself.  Then I probably won't be able to write anything at that point.
