Yeah, um... looks like we're going to have to postpone our trip.  We just took a look at the weather report for the Caribbean and it doesn't look favorable:

Oct 31   Few Showers 78°/69° 80% 78°F
Nov 1   Few Showers 81°/72° 95% 81°F
Nov 2 Partly Cloudy 89°/76° 10% 89°F
Nov 3 Few Showers 82/73° 30% 82°F
Nov 4   Few Showers  88°/75° 20% 88°F
Nov 5  Partly Cloudy 93°/79° 20% 93°F

Thank goodness for travel insurance. Words of advise - always always alway get travel insurance - especially if you know that you're going to place where the weather is a little unpredictable.

With that said - we were able to postpone our trip for another week.  Of course, we're going to have to cough up a few hundred dollars to make it happen. But I would much rather spend a little bit a of cash for better weather any day.

The only that sucks is that I'm already on vacation mode.  And the idea of having to go back to work for another week seems like torture to me.  *Sigh.  Oh well... the crystal teal ocean and the white sand beaches will have to wait.
