Marketing and School Shoes
Entry 2 of 42 | show all | print this entry |
Not much happened today. I wrote a lot of letters. Right before lunch, Mommy and I went out to the market -- it was rather empty. We also went to a mini-market to buy ham. For lunch, we had roast pork. After lunch, I wrote some more. When Daddy came home, he took me out to buy shoes for school. Pat and Henry came, too. After we bought shoes, we went for ice cream at Dad's favourite bbar. One of his friends gave me a lot of advice -- keep an open mind, don't let anyone influence or advise you ... interesting (and ironic). We stopped at the same mini-market on the way home and bought sour cream mix. We had baked potatoes for dinner. The Malaysian potato is a sphere about an inch in diameter. Tastes like a spud, tho. After dinner, we watched "Eight Is Six Too Many" ... and saw Catherine Gilmour, a recent Rose Queen from La Canada. After that, I lost two games of Casino, two games of Hearts, and two games of backgammon. I finally got smart and went to bed.
