The flight to Joburg was uneventful ... we were all separate but in exit rows. Read.
Upon arrival, we were among the first through customs and immigration, found our driver, then headed out into the hazy Joburg afternoon for our drive (at rush hour!) to Pilanesburg. We figured that one view of an interchange between two M-roads showed us more private vehicles than could be found in all of Malawi. Same amount of fires, though.
Eventually reached Kwa Maritane; checked in; had dinner (buffet - served, unfortunately, in the conference centre of the hotel, as the restaurant, with its lovely view, is closed for re-thatching); to bed.
