Clear, very warm.
We were up early, then taxied to the other side of the bay for breakfast. (Banana-nut waffles). Our briefing started at 0900 and continued until amost 1100. Obviously very comprehensive. Many warnings issued regarding theft.
We packed up and shipped over to Hull Number 25 (what a great name). We spent the remaining time stowing food, gear, etc., completing our check-out, storing food.
Left Bay about 1530h. Lovely sailing for a while, but eventually had to turn on the iron sail.
St. Lucia is a lovely, lush island, with many amazing peaks. A very enjoyable smooth sail into Soufriere Bay.
A truly interesting variation: local Boat-Boys will help one anchor. This comes in especially handy as the steepness of the bay requries a stern anchor -- and a bow rode attached to a palm tree on the beach. Moorings actually contracts with five boats for their services. Our Boat-Boys, Jah Love, were quite competent. The standard fee is EC$5 (or about $1.67). The island of free-enterprise.
We had a good dinner of red snapper, salad, and cookies. Paul and I cooked; Mum and Sue did the dishes.
After a few hours of conversation and relaxation, we slept.
