Last weekend me and Richard went to Creamfields! Had an amazing time, as dance music is my thing. When we first arrived, we realised how unprepared we was, a tent thats was to small, no wellies, no where to sit, good job there was an onsite camp shop! Although i bought a cheap tent that wasnt water proof, the wellies were a good investment!

On the friday night it was a silent disco, and me and rich, as wise as we are, were clever and found ways to jump the hour long que for headphones and the bar cues as he new the bar lady, and i was smart thinking and got head phones from the cinema place. We then enjoyed a night listening to swedish house mafia in the silent disco, who done some very good remixes including 'my other side' and 'losing my religion'.

The saturday was defo our drunkest day, playing stupid game of tying our hands together with a beer hand in each can, drinking as quickly as possile. At my drunkest moment I decided it was a good idea to pick the midget (who was stood a few feet infront of us, up... pass him to richardm then pat him on the head... he was an angry elf. Saw a few dj's that day, judge jules, eddie halliwell, ferry corsten and the chemical brothers. Oh and after chemical brothers finished, looked to my side, who had I been raving next too? only the infamous Joey Barton, who had just signed for QPR.

Sunday, was a 'hair of the dog' day, beer in morning to cure the hangover, plough through the day. We saw example, who was pretty darn good to be honest, and then saw an amazing set, quite possibly the best dj set i've seen live.. Armin Van Buuren, number one DJ in the world and for a dam good reason. Some awesome mixes and all the songs from his current mirage album. Cold Play the scientist mix was great, but for me, his mix and presentation of 'Vengeance' was amazing, with the rant/words from samuel l jackson in a scene from pulp fiction where he repeats a verse of the bible. It was AMAZING. However the drive home the next day wasnt :(

Yesterday was an eventful day, we had our last pre season friendly in which we drew 10-10 with banbury. I took a boot to the face without my gumshield in, but thankfully I only got a fat lip and all my teeth are intact for New Zealand! Both pre-season games done, unbeaten, and i didnt break a leg! Things are going well!

In the evening I had arranged a night out with all my friends to say goodbye, unfortunately a few of my closest friends and my brother could not make it due to holidays of their own, but it was a great night anyway. Great turn out, lots of people, and i got very very drunk, and it was good to see everyone before I leave. I'm gonna miss nights out with the rugby lads when i leave!

Two more days and will be at the airport, ready to go to New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup. Can't wait ! :)
