Well we took some time to enjoy the nice campground we were at this morning. They had a nice pool and this cool thing called a jumping pillow(see photo). I never saw one before. The kids loved it, especially Jenna, who practiced some tumbling on it. Rob and I took care of some housekeeping as well( ie. laundry, checking oil, etc).
We were on the road by noon. We made a stop at a local store to purchase some of Wisconsin's famous cheese ( mostly because Robbie was driving us a bit bonkers asking for cheese). It was only a couple of hours to the Mall of America. So we were all happy not to have a long tavel day. There were a lot of scary clouds on our journey today but not much rain
The Mall is amazing. It seems to go on forever. There is a large amusement park in the center complete with a loop coaster( Cara can't wait for that). We decided to shop today and ride tomorrow. The mall is so large that some chains have more than 1 store for example, there are 2 American Eagles and the girls found them both, but just shopped at one. There are 2 food courts
and numerous sit down restaurants. There is an American Girl Store but we are too old for it now (bittersweet). There is also a Lego play area and store. Robbie was soooo excited and left happy with his purchases. Rob got a massage in a machine that resmbled an MRI.
There is an attraction called Magic Quest(we played this before at a Great Wolf Lodge). Robbie was occupied with that for 90 minutes so it gave me time to shop with the girls. Its amazing how frugal they are when spending their own money as opposed to mine!
The campground is a county park and is surprisingly nice. We will probably do some exploring around here tomorrow evening. Lord knows my legs and my wallet can't take another full day of shopping.
Not as excitng as previous days but a welcome rest from the chaos!
