You have asked, you have begged, you have cajoled and cried and wept and whined.  And now, without further ado, the MONKEYS who live at my house!  For those of you who like this sort of thing, they are Blue Vervet Monkeys, and there's quite a large troupe of them who gallavant through the neighborhood.  Lots of cute babies (as you can see).  We have a compost pile in our back yard that they love to visit.  I stood near this compost and used a bit of banana to lure them to me in order to get these shots*.   They are a joy to watch, and do tons of cute human things with their hands.  This is only the first installment- more to come as I find time to do more photo shoots.
