Oi! from Porto Alegre
Well we made it to Porto Alegre this morning around 8am. We had an awesome time visiting Iguacu Falls. I think everyone felt like it was a once in a lifetime experience seeing the awesome power of God and the beauty of His creation. Everyone had lots of time to rest up on our 13 hour bus ride from Paraguay back to Brazil.
The Terry's have helped start an awesome mission here in Porto Alegre and everyone is pumped to be a part what there doing in the city. Everyone is looking forward to staying in church members homes and having the chance to practice their Portuguese; you can't leave out the awesome home cooked food they prepare. We have enjoyed seeing the different styles of each missionary team and how they each help in spreading the message in their own way. Tomorrow we're going to a drug and alcohol rehab camp to lay brick for a new dormatory that will be used as a half way house for recovering addicts. Our Architecture and Construction Science majors are looking forward to getting some experience also. From what we saw today, everyone working and staying there is devoted to seeing the place grow. The Holy Spirit works in incredible ways and this rehab facility is a great way for allowing the gospel to spread. God Bless
