Hola from Asunción, Paraguay
After a short flight from Rio Monday morning we landed in Paraguay. The cool rainy weather was quite a change from the hot, sunny weather we left behind in Brasil. I think we are all excited about being able to put our Spanish skills to work after coming from Brasil where we wern´t familiar with the language. All the missionaries who welcomed us at the airport have been true servants in making sure all our needs are met.
Arriving at the church, I think all of us were blown away by the amount of work the missionaries here in Asunción have put into turning an abandoned warehouse filled with garbage into a beautiful place of worship. Today we started off by visiting one of the orphanages in town and had a good time painting the brick wall around the building and playing with the kids. All the kids were very excited to see us. I think we are all pretty tired from picking them up and swinging them around; something they seem to enjoy a lot. We also played a few simple games with them. Check the blog for more updates and pics as the week goes on. God Bless.

fun with the kids
Looks like a lot of fun playing with the children. Is this orphanage church run? How many missionaries live in this area? In constant prayer for you servants.
