Coming back to Canada in complete disillusion and mentally knowing I won't be returning to the United Kingdom this time is quite shocking. It seems as though I just booked my flight and am ready to begin the adventure when in reality it has come and gone. I think it will make this website that much more cherishable. I have never gone back and read or even looked at photos I have posted so for myself to go back and read my blogs it will make me laugh. Plus notice my spelling errors, poor grammar and the empty blogs!
To anyone out there who has a fear of travelling or who wants to but doesn't know if they should let me tell you I was both before I left on my way to London on a one-way ticket over eighteen months ago. I always told myself that if my feelings didn't change after one month that I would head back to Canada. And needless to say it was hard for the first couple weeks but after I got myself sorted everything fell into place and I will never regret for my decision. As I read back on my adventures it will bring back alot of laughs and memories that I may have forgot about by now!
To top it all off though coming back to Canada for a visit has proven to me that my adventures are too fun and I don't want them to end just yet. If you have read my blogs at all you will have read back in March that I applied for a Working Holiday Visa in Australia just in case I wasn't ready to settle in Canada yet. And lucky I did because my flight is booked and I head off on another adventure on October 19 to enjoy the summer in sunny, beachy Australia!
Therefore it made me very sad to say good-bye to the United Kingdom for now and a good-bye to good friends I made but excited to meet alot of new ones and experience a new country filled with beautiful beaches and lively cities. Now the whole sorting everything out again is causing a bit of a headache but it's all who you know so I have Scott picking me up from the airport in Sydney and staying with him for a few days and then heading to Melbourne for the summer with Katie who will be picking me up at the train station and who has lined me up with a place to live! The hardest parts are already taken care of! Now all I have to do is find a job but I have a few interviews lined up so that makes it less stressful too!
So I will end this adventure with a thank you for all of the fun I have had over the past eighteen months with all of you! I have had so much fun that I am not leaving with a good-bye but with a see ya later! And with the final ending of........to be continued!
