I have not yet found a job so I have decided to go see a bit of Scotland.  I have not booked my tour yet but I'm hoping to tour for approximately 3 days.  I heard the tours are a fun journey and it's better to do it before I start work.  Otherwise you never find the time for it.

One thing that I think will take me quite awhile to get used to is this weather!  It is 15C and I am still wearing jeans, 2 fleece and my gloves.  The wind is a wee bit chilly and now I'm wishing I would have brought a touque.  Of course the locals are in t-shirts and cropped trousers while I, from cold Canada, am wearing my winter gear.  Burrrr!

Over the weekend I finally got my taste of a Scottish pub....and the whiskey (mom don't worry....it was just a sip) 1 Edinburgh
1 Edinburgh
!  It was one of my flatmates leaving due as she is moving back to Canada in 2 weeks.  It was very surprising as I was expecting a very loud, drunken party and it was quite quiet.  Of course while walking home at midnight you could see quite a bit of puke on the streets but it was not as bad as I was warned about.  I was warned that people are usually passed out beside their puke and you either pass them on your way home that night or during a walk the next morning.  I won't be disappointed if I never run into that!  Scotland is a pub itself.  Everything closes down in the evenings except the pubs and they are always packed.  Love to experience the Scottish life!

Time to go and book my tour and go to a few more recruitment agencies for a job!  I will fill my digital with photos so I can download them to a disc!  Cheers!
